'Double Shekel' (Copper-Nickel, 26 mm, 18.65 g, 12 h), unsigned British Museum electrotype by Robert Ready or his sons. Galley to left before turreted city wall; below, two lions standing left and right. Rev. The Persian Great King, raising his right hand in salute and holding bow in his left, standing left in fast chariot driven by a driver to left; below, incuse goat running left, head turned back to right. Cf. Betlyon 7, Elayi & Elayi 194-199 and HGC 10, 221 (for prototype). Very fine.
